Peter Baker has served in a leadership capacity in the marketplace and religious organizations for years. He has served in management positions in a number of human services organizations- the last being the Assistant Director of a Durham County Government agency. He has Pastored two churches for over 20 years combined and presently serves as President of a multi-state Bible College. Peter presently serves on Roxboro City Council, the Chamber of Commerce Board and is a member of the Kiwanis Club. Peter is the Co-owner and Operator of Shipping As Unusual, a customer-friendly Ship-Print-Notary company here in Roxboro. These areas of service have positioned him to understand the community better and qualify him to serve as the Mayor of a city on the move. He understands the need to keep Roxboro's hometown feel, while leading it into its next phase of growth.
